WORK EXPERIENCE:
Private Practice, 2001-Present: Started a solo-practice in Gynecology, with a special interest in the treatment of abnormal paps/colposcopy and abnormal bleeding disorders.
Consultant OB-GYN Physician, Africa, 2002 and 2009: Worked as an attending physician at KCMC Teaching Hospital and in Haydom Hospital in Tanzania (East Africa). Experience included fistula repairs, other major gynecologic surgeries, obstetrical care, and teaching rounds for residents and students.
The University of Virginia, 1999-2001: Assistant Professor of General Obstetrics and Gynecology, attending both private and resident patients in the ambulatory, operative, and delivery settings. Developed the First Annual University of Virginia Endoscopy Course (Course Director).
